  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, steamed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  2. Combine the cooked chicken, cooked rice, steamed broccoli, cheddar cheese, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Stir the mixture until all the ingredients are well combined and the cheese has started to melt into the mix.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over the top for additional texture if using.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is heated through and the top is golden and bubbly.
  7. Let the casserole cool slightly before serving to help the flavors meld together.

Notes

You can use rotisserie chicken or leftover chicken to save time. Fresh, frozen, or pre-steamed broccoli works well; just ensure it’s cut into bite-sized pieces. Breadcrumbs are optional but add a crunchy topping.
